What data we process and why
- Booking and contact data: when you message us on WhatsApp to book a tour, we process the data you give us (name, phone number and booking details) in order to handle it.
- Browsing data (analytics): if you give your consent, we use aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it.
- Contact form: the name, email address and message you write on the contact page are sent to our inbox through Web3Forms, the provider that runs that sending service. We only use them to reply to you.
We do not request payment details: third-party (affiliate) bookings are made on their own platforms, which apply their own privacy policy.
Legal basis
Handling your booking is based on your request and on the interest in attending to it. Analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like from the cookie notice.
Retention
We keep booking data for as long as necessary to handle it and comply with applicable legal obligations. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form according to the tool used.
Third parties
We don't sell your data. When you book third-party services through affiliate links, you deal with that platform directly. Analytics may involve a technology provider (e.g. Google) acting as a data processor.
Messages from the contact form are handled through Web3Forms, which acts as a data processor and does nothing beyond delivering your message to us by email. We don't create any account with your data, nor do we use it to send you advertising.
